About Dream of Soul Foundation

Dream of Soul Foundation is a Section 8 Not-for-Profit Company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, headquartered in Siliguri, West Bengal, India. We build free digital infrastructure — tools, field programs, and institutional linkages — for artisans, farmers, women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and rural entrepreneurs across Eastern India.

Our Mission

90 crore rural livelihoods remain disconnected from the markets, government schemes, and institutional capital they deserve. The barrier is not eligibility — it is information. Dream of Soul Foundation closes that gap through free AI-powered tools, compliance-first field programs, and a sovereign rural commerce infrastructure spanning Bihar, West Bengal, and the Northeast.

What We Do

We promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural artisans, farmers, women-led SHGs, and marginalized communities through skill development, capacity building, and enterprise training. We support cluster-based development of traditional crafts, natural fibre industries, eco-friendly manufacturing, and sustainable agricultural value chains across Eastern India.

Our free digital tools — Scheme Checker™, Catalogue Builder™, Artisan Onboarding™, and Market Navigator™ — give artisans in 3 minutes what a ₹15,000 consultant charges for. Since launch, we have matched over ₹2.4 crore in government scheme eligibility to rural beneficiaries at zero cost.

Our Compliance Stack

Dream of Soul Foundation is one of the few Section 8 NGOs in Eastern India with a complete institutional compliance stack established before the first field program launched. Every CSR contribution is tax-deductible, every program is auditable, and every credential is publicly verifiable.

Our Field Programs

In 2026, Dream of Soul Foundation executed three field programs across Bihar and West Bengal — Makhana Market Linkage (Menha, Saharsa), Makhana Brand Development (Bijalpur, Saharsa), and Aspiring Entrepreneur Registration (Bidhanagar, Siliguri) — reaching 30+ direct beneficiaries across 2 states. Over 70% of beneficiaries reached are women.

Our Three-Layer Ecosystem

Dream of Soul Foundation operates within a deliberately designed three-layer institutional architecture. The Foundation (Section 8 NGO) handles artisan activation, CSR programs, and digital infrastructure. Dream of Soul Proprietorship — a women-led MSME — manages commercial operations, corporate gifting, and marketplace channels. Dream of Soul LLC (Wyoming, USA) serves as the international export facilitation layer, fully export-ready with IEC, AD Code, and EIN registration.

Leadership

The Foundation is led by Ranjita Mandal, Founder and Proprietor, and Rakesh Mandal, Co-Founder and Head of Strategy. Rakesh brings 10+ years of expertise in SEO, performance marketing, agentic AI, and e-commerce, and has been invited as Guest Lecturer by MSME-DFO Muzaffarpur for field events educating PM Vishwakarma-registered artisans on digital selling and market linkage across Bihar.
